The Philoptochos' mission and responsibilites are centered around one basic theme: to reflect a hands-on approach to philanthropy. That theme is brought to life as the ladies of Philoptochos seek to alleviate the suffering of those in need, to assist the sick, poor, elderly, widowed, orphaned, and hungry. In addition, we are ever-seeking to better understand current social issues so that we may widen the scope of our philanthropic endeavors and provide opportunities to serve the church as part of stewardship. Finally, we aim to inspire others in upholding the Orthodox faith and bring women of the church together in friendship and fellowship.
